Festivals

     Festivals and celebrations have always been a part of human civilization. As long as there have been people interacting there has been cause to come together and do activities that we would recognize today as festivities. Since the beginning these festivals and celebrations have been to honor something that we feel strongly about, be they religion, art, food, or so on.

     This exhibit will focus on the celebrations that the City of Portland, Oregon holds. By examining a place’s festivals we can see what they feel is worth celebrating.
